Although Reflect was conceived as an approach linking adult literacy to social change and empowerment, the flexibility of the approach has enabled practitioners to apply it to many different types of programme in many different contexts. Some of the new directions are highlighted in the following links.
Highlights:
Reflect and ICTS: a pilot project linking Reflect approach to information and communicatin technologies;
Reflect and HIV/AIDS: lots of new collaborations, including links with stepping stones
Reflect and Numeracy: linking to economic literacy and governance.
Reflect in UK Schools: Get Global! is a teachers' guide which draws on Reflect to facilitate active global citizenship in the classroom
Reflect in conflict situations: some examples and evaluations
Alternatively, take a look at the Reflect Global Survey to get a real taste of the range of types of organisation using the approach, and the linguistic, cultural and geographical diversity of the contexts in which it is applied.
